Luke Gibson

Assistant Professor

Raised in the American Southwest, Luke is a die-hard cross-disciplinary creative with a strong focus in motion design. A veteran of New York branding agencies, Luke has traveled the world creating national and international campaigns for clients such as Estée Lauder, Clinique, and Saks Fifth Avenue. His work has been featured at the Ziegfeld theater on Broadway and has received national and international awards, including from the AIGA, the Art Director’s Club, and Red Dot Design Awards. He is a lover of all things remote and mysterious, and loves studying surrealism, meditation, and ritual. In 2020, he received his MFA in Motion Media design from the Savannah College of Art & Design, and now teaches interdisciplinary motion courses in the BYU Department of Design.
